Liquefaction potential analysis for Palu City based on CPT method

Abstract During the 28 September 2018 Palu-Donggala earthquake, liquefaction was also a prominent hazard causing significant damage to buildings and infrastructures in Palu City. To mitigate such City, knowledge of depth liquified soil layer is necessary. This paper presents results CPT-based potential analysis some locations around city where sand boiling ground settlement occurred. The shows that occurs at various depths less than 15 m may induce up few centimeters. In Palu-Koro Fault zone, likely thicker other locations. Consequently, total higher this study suggest should be accounted for development City reduce future earthquake risk.
